For our fully vaccinated guests (2 weeks after second dose), you are able to enjoy massage treatments (wearing of face mask is optional) and facial treatments

You are able to enjoy massage treatments (wearing of face mask is optional). However, facial treatments are not permitted for those whom are not fully vaccinated.

From August 29, wearing of face mask is optional.

According to Massage Establishment Rules 2018 (S96/2018), a licensee of a massage establishment must require a client to furnish his or her NRIC number or particulars of his/her passport travel document before providing any massage services. The licensee must enter the client’s information in a register and keep the register for at least a year.

We are plagued by no-shows and last-minute cancellations which put an enormous strain on our very limited manpower and space. As such, we are collecting a reservation fee of $50 per pax to secure your booking. This amount can be used to offset your bill and you may reschedule or ask for a refund if you change your mind 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Upon payment of reservation fee, an insurance certificate will be sent to you within 24 hours via email by AVA.

Please note that the reservation fee will be forfeited if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment.

You will be required to fill out a new client consultation form to provide us with your
details, general questions to establish your massage preferences, allergies, medication history and health conditions that we should know of, so the therapist can adapt the session to your specific needs and requests. It is important to list any allergies so that our therapist is aware of your needs to use a different oil/treatment ingredient during the session.

New clients should arrive 30 minutes prior to their massage to fill out our registration form, and meet with our receptionist for a spa and treatment introduction prior to their treatment.  Returning clients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their session.

Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.  Any cancellation requested less than 48 hours prior to your appointment are subject to forfeiting of $50 reservation fee. We recognize the time of our clients and therapists is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason.

All spa appointments have been designed to allow appropriate time for full enjoyment of each service. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. We will always accommodate you if possible, however if you arrive 15 minutes past your appointment time, the treatment time will be cut short. Hence, we highly encourage customers to arrive 30 minutes early.

Your safety and health are our utmost priority. Please reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are not feeling well.

What are your safety procedures at Aramsa Spa?

  • All contact points Aramsa Spa will be wiped with disinfectant hourly.
  • After every client, our therapist will sanitize and wipe down all contact points.

Massage

Do let us know on our consultation card what are your massage pressure preference. We recommend that if you are looking for a relaxing massage, you can opt for Aramsa Touch which is of light to medium pressure. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, you may opt for the Inner Respite massage which focuses on the deeper layers of tissue to relieve tension.
Yes, for ladies whom are on their period, they are still able to enjoy massages. You may wear your padded underwear at all times during the massage. Should you require a sanitary pad, do let our therapist know so that they can provide you one!

Showering before a massage would be good to rinse off any chlorine, perspiration and dirt from body before a spa treatment. A warm shower will also help loosen up your muscles to help your body absorb the oils better. After the massage, we highly recommend a cup of ginger tea or water to rehydrate and not to washing off the healing oils immediately after.

For full body massages, both male and females are required to wear disposable underwear at all times during the massage. Rest assured; towels will be provided toprotect your modesty. Our massage therapist will step out of the room to give you privacy to undress and get comfortable on the massage bed. Should you feel uncomfortable at any point, do feel free to let our therapist know so that they are aware.

We recommend for all of our customers to close their eyes and relax completely during a massage session. Our massage therapists will advice you to change position when necessary. If you have any questions about the treatment, you may wish to speak to our front desk receptionist before or after your treatment.

Do let our therapist know if you get too warm or too cold, if the room is too bright, or if the pressure needs to be changed (lighter or deeper). If something is not working for you, do feel free to let our therapist know at any point of time.

After your session, we encourage our customers to increase your water intake. This helps keep your body’s tissues hydrated and healthy.

Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience a significant decrease or freedom from long-term aches and pains. Many feel a little slowed down for a short period and then notice an increase of energy, heightened awareness and increased productivity which can last for days.

If you received a deep massage, your muscles may be slightly sore the next day, bruises and red marks may appear due to the stimulation of the muscles. This is normal and may last for 2-3 days after your massage session. A hot shower, or soak in the tub will help to ease the soreness.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Here at Aramsa Spa we offer Pre-Natal massage for mummies above 13-weeks (first trimester). We use Japanese Camellia Body Massage Oil from ELEMIS that is pregnancy safe, and nourishing for the body.

The pressure of the massage is light to medium, it is a comforting and nurturing massage that relieves tension in the back, shoulders, scalp, hands and feet of mother’s to be.

Pregnant mummies are only able to enjoy our Pre-Natal massage and facials.
